Cold But Busy Evening Ahead For Local Sides
If it’s Tuesday, it must be local football night, and despite being so close to Yuletide this week is no exception.
In the Ryman Premier, Billericay Town will be looking to extend their lead at the top when struggling Aveley come to New Lodge for another South Essex derby. ‘Ricay will need to be wary, though, as Aveley hammered Canvey Island earlier this season.
The Gulls are also in action, in the Ryman League Cup, with lowly Ryman One North outfit Cheshunt visiting Park Lane.
There’s also League Cup action at Rookery Hill, where East Thurrock United, clearly having a liking for knockout football this season, entertain Ramsgate.
