Can You Help Identify Him?

Police investigating a robbery at a petrol station have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify and speak to.

20150101 belgrave service station cctv 2He went into the shop at Belgrave Service Station in Rayleigh Road, Leigh on Sea, at 9.25pm on Friday January 1, went behind the till and threatened a staff member with a knife.

He demanded money and stole several hundred pounds before running off.

The staff member was not hurt but, not surprisingly, was left shaken.

If you can identify the suspect from the CCTV images the Police have released, please contact Pc Victoria Leese at Rayleigh CID on 101.

You may not be able to identify the man positively, but you may well have seen someone very much like him hanging around a particular area. Your information could provide the valuable intelligence to enable the Police to make a complete picture of events and prevent another such incident.
