Bare Bones Boogie Band Comes to the Queen’s Theatre – Sunday 15th June

12th June 2014
Posted by Ros Connors

GET some boogie in your bones when the award-winning Bare Bones Boogie Band make a welcome return to the Queen’s Theatre Foyer on Sunday 15 June at 7.30pm.

Since they were formed in 2008, the band have released three critically acclaimed albums and performed at numerous high-profile festivals and venues including the O2 and London’s legendary 100 Club. Their first album in 2010 was met with fantastic international reviews and airplay and was voted Best UK Blues Album by the Blues Underground Network. Their most recent album, Tattered & Torn, will be available on the night.

The Bare Bones Boogie Band are four enormously experienced musicians hailing from all over the UK: heartfelt belting vocals from sultry rock chick Helen Turner, with co-founder Iain Black on guitar, Andy Jones on drums and Trev Turley, who has just been nominated for Bassist of the Year in the British Blues Awards 2014.

Ros Connors spoke to Trev Turley on Wednesday’s Drivetime.

You can book tickets for the show here.
