Gateway 97.8 was proud to support the Kodōsai Cultural Event which was held at the Holiday Inn, Festival Leisure Park, Basildon between Friday 4th October to Sunday 6th October.
Hundreds of visitors from around the world arrived in Basildon for the three day Japanese cultural event which featured workshops on Japanese culture and experiences, including Japanese haiki poetry, Japanese shodo calligraphy, and Samurai history workshops, in the style of Horrible Histories.
Gateway 97.8 was announced as the official station of the seminar and broadcasted live from the event on Saturday 5th October and Sunday 6th October, Coffee & Tea with Gonzo, The Evening Crew with Danny Lawrence, and Weekend Breakfast with Tahra Malik.
