Last Saturday’s repeat of “The Old Gits Soul Show” had to be broadcast in an inferior quality to the usual super shiny stereo that you know and love, but first and foremost a big “thank you” to the top team behind the scenes here at Gateway to retrieving what they could and keeping the Saturday evening soul flag flying – if only at half-mast ! Intriguingly, I got some positive comments all the same, the general theme being that the mono-AM quality output totally suited the 70s/80s tunes and took them right back to the old days when we often listened to radio on medium wave ! LOL
Fingers crossed all will be back to normal tomorrow at 5pm and these are the fab tunes you can enjoy hearing …
