You know I like to do something a little special or different for the Bank Holiday shows, but I was scratching my head as to what to do with the one last Monday. Then I looked through my seemingly never ending lists of songs to be played on my show and realized there were quite a few that were a bit “off the wall” that I had been saving for a rainy day. Well, you know what the weather was like so this was the show to put them all in at once !! There is one particular track, a cover of “Stand By Me” which might come as a complete surprise to you (unless you bought the same compilation CD as me !) so I’ve not named the artist in this week’s playlist below, but take a look at the line-up and tune in out of curiosity to hear how it all gels together qutie nicely, despite looking a tad unusual on paper.
