Neil Gits New CD Players !

Santa visited the Gateway studios early this year, for when I arrived to do my show last Monday, there were two lovely new machines installed to play my super soul CDs on ! Not only that but they were identical to the ones I love using out “on the road” at all my gigs, so I felt at home with them straight away. Of course, I will still be using MP3s as well to bring you plenty of cherished vinyl tracks from my vast collection at home, but I have now vowed to go through endless piles of CDs in the car instead of listening to dreaful non-stop Xmas songs and Xmas adverts on other radio stations to see if there are any gems I have missed on disc or tunes that deserve another airing on the show. This evening’s playlist is pretty typical of what you can normally hear, with roughly a 50/50 mix of CD/vinyl, mostly from the 70s & 80s, but with the odd surprise from either side of those two decades – have a listen from 5pm today and enjoy ! 🙂
