A slightly “distracted” show this week as I literally picked up my new reading glasses just minutes before turning up at the studio and it was a good opportunity to road test them ! That will explain some of the hesitation and fumbling around you might hear as I got used to being able to read my lists of gigs and scribbled notes on my playlist perfectly clearly once again (well most of the scribble…) but found that I needed to take the new specs off again to read anything off the computer screens as my eyes re-adjusted to “normality” again after a few months of compensating. Gosh – I sound like a qualified optician now !! 😉 Anyway, as you’ve come to expect, the tunes were jolly good in between the ramblings and you can hear for yourself if you missed Monday’s live show when they are all aired again between 5pm & 7pm this afternoon …
