Oh boy ! That was a stinker ! Three days of feeling like death warmed up, then thankfully back to near normality as the dreaded “man-cold” slowly wore off. Unfortunately, one of those three days was Monday, but not wanting to let my listener down (and knowing that I was unlikely see anyone else for any more than a passing moment whilst at the station!) I soldiered on and the show went ahead. In actual fact, it was quite a good one and I am probably going to listen to the first part myself when it is repeated at 5pm this Saturday – if only to see just HOW nasal I sounded !!
