Neil Gits Some Free Time

I’m sure you might have read one of my blogs complaining how busy I’ve been over the previous seven days with quiz nights and school commitments, how tired I am after it all or just feeling fragile after a major road trip or rare night out socially, but today I am fine !

This week was an unnaturally quiet one, with a chance to catch up on jobs left untouched for weeks (or months !) and grab the odd extra hour in bed or stay up on the sofa watching rubbish telly for the hell of it, just because I can. Of course I also took the opportunity to go through a few sides of forgotten vinyl and re-stock the “Ideas List” for my soul show here on Gateway, the results of which you can hear on a Monday evening soon.

But for now I am off to watch only my second Billericay Town FC match of the season this afternoon – then win, lose or draw tune into the repeat play of “The Old Gits Soul Show” at 5pm on my way home to play FIFA16 on X-Box with Nathan and watch Match of the Day ! Sometimes life’s good … 🙂
