90s Revival – 25.10.2011

27th October 2011
Posted by Gateway 97.8

The Nineties Revival is the radio show which LOVES the nineties. It was the decade of instant messaging and Rugrats!

If you missed anything on this weeks edition, we’ve got a round up what happened and the entire playlist too. Be sure to set your alarm for next Tuesday evening from 7 and join Mark Hardie (me) on Gateway 97.8 FM for Basildon & East Thurrock.

The show was jam packed with decade related news from a campaign to get Nirvana to Christmas number one and Noel Gallagher knocked Steps off the top of the album charts. Westlife are to split following a farewwell tour and album, MC Hammer is launching a search engine and Pat Sharp of Fun House fame celebrated his 50th Birthday on Tuesday too.

In the second hour we also counted down the top ten from this week in 1996. It was the year we first saw Woody and Buzz in Toy Story and Take That broke up, which saw a Helpline setup for those in distress because of it.
