Basildon Pride Live is bringing Pride to your living room with an afternoon of celebrations.
Broadcasting from the Basildon Sporting Village, there are acts ranging from Drag Queens to UV Puppets. There will even be a few famous faces making an appearance.
Ahead of today’s celebrations, the Pride flag was raised over the council offices, and the Basildon sign has been lit up in rainbow colours for the weekend.
Although the event is far from what was originally planned, it is set to be an incredible extravaganza. The family stage stage is live from 3-5 pm, then the main stage brings entertainment into the night.
