Digital TV Switchover: Important Information

Now, if you’re still watching television using an old analogue receiver, and your picture comes from the transmitter at Crystal Palace, then on 18th April, your picture will completely disappear as the current service to London goes to digital.

Over the past few weeks, we at Gateway 97.8, have been talking quite a lot about a free help scheme for the older 75’s.

Blind and partially sighted people may also be eligible for a free call out, and installation. Gateway 97.8 spoke on the telephone to Liam McKay who is London Regional Manager for the BBC’s Digital Help Scheme, who can tell us what will happen after 18th April…
