Epping -Ongar Railway Mixed Traction Gala 22^nd August-23^rd August 9AM Both days close 5:17pm

if you like all things railway related this could be for you.

An intensive timetable operates all weekend, with most of the available steam and diesel locomotives in use!

Both large prairie’s 4141, and N2 1744 will be operating for fans of steam engines this is the last chance to catch the latter before she departs after a summer of reliable service.

Diesel traction is confirmed to be loco-only, with classes 37 (D6729) and 47 (47635).

Southend Vulcan opens its doors again for visitors!
XL426, the Vulcan aircraft at London Southend Airport, will be welcoming visitors again on Sunday 23rd August!
This icon of the Cold War period will be open for visits both around the aircraft and for those who would like to sit in the cockpit.

Films Under the Stars 22^nd August Cromwell Manor 9PM

Come and watch a classic film in the outside cinema at Cromwell Manor Films Under Stars outdoor cinema present Back to the Future at Cromwell Manor.
