Please join Jag Singh for another edition of the motivational Gateway 97.8 radio show – The Inspirational Zone this Sunday coming at 3pm. The I-Zone is about our community, our country and its people. On the I-Zone Jag interviews charities, community groups and inspirational legends in order to send out the good messages to motivate our people to get into gear and make a difference, not only in their lives but others as well.
The Institute of Alcohol Studies has revealed the following:
Today, young people’s drinking habits differ from the older generations. Recent trends suggest that they drink less often during the week, but that they are more prone to heavy episodic or binge drinking when they do. This may be down to culture of drinking in which excessive consumption is encouraged as part of facilitating group belonging in youth adulthood.
Sitting in the I-Zone guest chair on Sunday will be Dianne Hodgkinson representing the amazing organisation – The Chelmsford Street Pastors. The CSP established in 2008 and are now a familiar sight on the Chelmsford weekend nightlife scene. They are acknowledged as a force for good, not only by pub goers and clubbers, but also receive full support from the police, CCTV authorities and pub/club owners. The local authorities have stated that since the scheme started, there has been a significant drop in the level of anti-social behaviour on Friday and Saturday evenings in Chelmsford.
The CSP are a group of volunteers who give up their time to make the streets a better place and diffuse any confrontational situations using their highly extensive training and people skills (sometimes with jelly babies!) On the I-Zone, Dianne will be speaking about the good work the CSP are doing and telling us about the weekend challenges they come across and how they deal with them accordingly week in and week out.
During the interview Jag will also be playing his inspirational English, Punjabi and Hindi music to get you motivated and pumped up for the week ahead. Jag will be continuing the series of motivational messages from around the globe. So, buckle up, sit back and get ready for the special inspirational short but effective message provided this week by Jag’s illuminating and motivational friends Team Fearless (USA, California)
