The Inspiration Zone: NSPCC UK

Join me Jag Singh on Sunday at 15:00 on ‘The Inspiration Zone’ only on ‘Our Local Radio’ Gateway 97.8. On this special edition of ‘The I-Zone’ I will be talking to Helen Marriner who will speaking about the great work her amazing organisation the UK’s leading children’s charity the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) are doing to keep the children of our nation safe.

Helen is the NSPCC area co-ordinator for the Essex, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock areas and manages an amazing  team of volunteers who visit primary schools and conduct assemblies and workshops to send out the message ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe.’ They speak about how any child or young adult who is suffering any form of abuse may reach out and get help. They also promote Childline – a special helpline created to support such young individuals who feel as if they are all alone and need support. We must all praise the the great inspiration that Helen and all the NSPCC UK teams do around our country to send out the great message to our children.

The NSPCC are always looking for more support through donations and volunteers, so if you are an individual, School, or company who would like to donate to the NSPCC please click on the link below for more information.
