Jag, Ron and Single Parents on The Inspiration Zone

Britain has more single parents than almost any country in Europe. Ron had many challenges to contend with when he found himself with three children to bring up on his own.

He talks of the challenges he faced as a single parent and how he motivated himself and managed to get his life back into shape with the right mentality and attitude.

Many single parents who are struggling and finding it hard to cope suffer in silence because (i) they are not sure to whom to turn for help, (ii) they are not confident to reach out and (iii) they do not know about Gingerbread, a great UK charity set up specifically to assist single parents. There are around 2 million single parents in the UK. One in four families in Britain with dependent children is headed by a single parent. The majority of single parents in Britain – two out of three — are working.  

Single parents by and large do a brilliant job but paying the bills and juggling work and family life on a daily basis on your own can be very challenging.

Jag Singh talks to Ron on this very emotive and motivational interview about the great steps Ron has taken to get his life back in order while caring and being responsible  for three young children all on his own.
