…to his accounts ! Yep, it’s that time of year again to lump together all the receipts and invoices, get the calculator out and hope that it doesn’t all result in an outrageous tax demand come January 31st. As I’m sure many people reading this will agree, it’s never a nice task to undertake – if you have a successful year and make lots of income, you pay a big tax bill. If you are sensible with the money you make and cut down on unnecessary outgoings, you don’t have enough expenditure … and pay a big tax bill! To my untrained mind it seems the way forward is to work as little as possible and spend as much money as you can buying stuff at premium prices, so that the end result is the HMRC owe YOU a cheque for overpaying last time !! Much stress every October…
