How many times have you said “Happy New Year” to people this week? How often have you boldly stated “this is my first blah blah of 2014”? How many friends laughed when you claimed “I haven’t done this since last year!”? Isn’t this first week of the year so amusing?! Well, on my show this Monday it was time to get things moving forward and unleash another batch of fabulous tunes from the wonderful world of soul, jazz-funk & disco in the 70s & 80s – some less familiar tunes by world famous soul stars, some timeless classics you never get fed up of and some great tracks you might never have heard anywhere before and may never hear again – unless that is you listen to the repeat play this Saturday at 5pm!
