November is traditionally supposed to be a quiet month for us DJ types, the lull before Xmas, etc … but somebody’s not read the script here in Neil-world ! OK, I am not snowed under with party gigs, but the quiz nights I run are all going quite well, touch wood, and outside of work it just so happens to be the month my son celebrates (and I mean CELEBRATES !) his birthday which means in our house just one topic of conversation has been allowed for the last couple of weeks.
His mum has also decided to go travelling in the Far East for the month and I usually cover her part-time driving job for a mutual friend – and guess what ? He’s busy with work too ! Consequently my lesser-important jobs have had to be pushed to one side and that included shaving – no, I am not joining in that silly “Mo-vember” stuff, but after missing a few days I was starting to look like Mr Weirdy Beardy ! Yuk ! Thank heavens for Mondays and a chance to lock myself away in the studio and relax with some super 70s & 80s soul n stuff which I re-share with you in a repeat play at 5pm today (Saturday) … Enjoy ! 🙂
