It’s a miracle I had any voice left to present the latest “Old Gits Soul Show” last Monday. I’d spent over three hours at the “Soul On The Harbour” gig in Ramsgate on the Saturday, chatting non-stop with like minded soul fans and DJs about many memories, DJs, venues and of course TUNES – and woke up more than a little croaky on Sunday morning ! The knock-on effect was that my enthusiasm for Monday evening hit a new high and I seemed to pick up a few new listeners in the Thanet zone – and if I say so myself they heard a real cracker of a show !!
