After a special themed show last week for the Bank Holiday and six weeks of routine trashing school holidays, it was great to have a regular Monday evening this week, although with Nathan now started at Billericay School I was flying solo in the studio – he now has to deal with that dreaded word “homework” each night !
I reached deep into my vinyl collection for a few gems, played some tracks that had been sitting patiently on a “must play soon” list for a couple of months and enjoyed some nice feedback from my lovely listeners. I’ve now also fully updated the “Recommended Old Gits Nights Out” list, so as well as running an eye over the tunes you can hear on the repeat play of the show tomorrow at 5pm, you might see somewhere you can go and enjoy more of the same out & about over the next few weeks …
