The first “Old Gits Soul Show” of 2017 unfortunately came straight after New Year’s Eve and having had a major party night to attend to the night before, I was unable to wake up in time to see ANY of the morning daylight of the first day of 2018 !! Luckily, I was (almost) organized enough to get in the studio in time for the annual “Old Gits Best Bits” show, giving another spin to some of the best vinyl tracks I re-discovered over the last 12 months and am now looking forward to Monday and my first ‘proper’ show of the new year, live at 7pm on Gateway.
I have also managed to update the “Recommended Old Gits Nights Out” gig list too, scrubbing off all the long gone Xmas dates and adjusting the details of all the long running monthly events we get behind on the show, although there seem to be constant new ones coming along day by day, so there will be more added in next week – tune in on Monday to hear about some of them !
