This time last year my last show of 2012 was a pre-recorded one due to New Year’s Eve falling on a Monday. Although this time I will be LIVE in the studio for my Gateway “farewell to 2013”, I thought I’d do the same thing as I did back then and put together an “Old Gits Best Bits” show.
I’ll be looking back through my last 52 playlists and picking out around 20 tunes that really stood out as being most enjoyable to re-discover, so get ready to savour two hours of non-stop cherished vinyl (OK … and CD!) Soul Soothers, Mellow Moments, Short Trousered Soul Tracks, Old Gits Jazzy Bits, Tasty 12s and several other tracks that I hope made you say “Yes! Loved that!” over the last year.
As ever the show goes out between 7pm & 9pm, but don’t forget there’s always a repeat play on Saturday at 5pm – if you read this in time here are the tunes I will be playing this evening !
