Neil Gits His Big Ones Out !

5th May 2014
Posted by Neil Matthew

I sometimes like to do something a little bit different or special for the Bank Holiday Monday shows and today’s the day ! To celebrate the return of my PC to full working order after a nightmare week and a bit without it, this evening’s show will be crammed full of massive soul, jazz-funk & disco hits from the 70s & 80s, alongside some of those special “Weekender Anthems” for you to enjoy if you are making your way back from a wild time at Caister today. I have selected around 25 of the tunes that I never get tired of playing out on the road that get requested time and time again and always fill the dancefloor, plus a sprinkling of soul soothers by four of my favourite male / female soul singers for good measure – BUT ! I’d really like to hear your choices too !

Feel free to change my carefully structured playlist with a quality request or two by texting (01268)833978 or sending an email to [email protected] during the show from 7pm today and I’ll push any of my selections to one side to make way for one of yours. Let’s see out the Bank Holiday Weekend in style – and welcome the start of Summer 2014 ! 🙂

For the obsessive collector in you, here are the last two weeks playlists that I couldn’t post in this blog – maybe something here will trigger an idea or two …
