Neil Gits Chicken Tikka-d !

As our ongoing quest to enjoy ourselves as much as possible continued into the last week of the school holidays, Nathan & I put some interesting food in our tummies this week ! As I type this, I am “savouring” the after effects of my first ever Thai meal last night, fairly tasty, but not as yummy as good old Chinese – and our Pepsi intake increased over the last couple of days considerably as this was preceded by a feast of some especially delicious but rather spicy Italian meatballs & spaghetti on Wednesday ! However, just before my weekly live radio show last Monday, I took Nathan’s advice and plumped for his favourite Subway concoction – Chicken Tikka with Sweetcorn and South-West sauce … YEEEUUUGH !!! Not only that, being a Big Daddy and having a large appetite, I went with the footlong version too – and spent the entire two hours between 7pm & 9pm regretting it … BLEEEURRGH ! Strange how two closely related people can have such differing tastes – definitely back to Chicken & Bacon with peppers and BBQ sauce next time…

What was also strange was that despite my “discomfort”, this week’s show went rather well – and the tunes selected were much MUCH tastier than my food ! Judge for yourself by checking out the playlist below then tuning in for the repeat airing this evening at 5pm …
