I only got to choose just over half the songs on the show this week – seven were picked for me by my lovely listeners, who proved what impeccable taste they have. Samantha even asked me to get Nathan to select his favourite Michael Jackson song to play alongside her first choice – his “fave” changes every day it seems, luckily Monday was a good day ! 😉
Kim in Corringham is a regular and when she suggests a track, I sit up and take notice as it’s usually one I’d forgotten I had and loved hearing again, or it’s something that slipped under my radar and I was blissfully unaware of and turns out to be a gem! Then there’s Richard from behind the scenes at Gateway who comes up with cuts I usually don’t know, but are always a little “off the wall” and really interesting to add in the playlist.
