Last Saturday I was at a wedding party for the large part of the day (hence no time for a blog last week! 🙁 ) and had a serious catch up with a lot of people. I’ve known the groom since he was about 12 and when he became a teenager he used to roadie for me in the 90s, plus I know many of his family really well from working in his mum’s old pub for many years. Some of the guests I still keep in touch with, others I only see on occasions like this now, but each one reminded me of so many other names, places and faces that were a big part of my long past – I was quite exhausted by then end !
I like to think that listening to my show has a similar effect on you (not making you feel exhausted!) with each song bringing back good memories and setting off wave after wave of nostalgia for a happy, distant time in our soulful lives…
