No, nothing to do with trick or treaters last Monday or an unexpected rocket in the back garden tonight – it was Danny Lawrence posting a horrible huge photo of me on my blog on Monday morning !! I’d run out of time to accompany my ramblings with a soulful picture, so he kindly jumped in and “filled the gap” …
Today, as you can see, I have found a fantastic shot of Ella Fitzgerald who makes a surprise appearance on the playlist for this evening’s repeat play performing an amazing cover version of a Motown song in 1970 – the picture was taken around that time I do believe !
As you would expect, there are some terrific songs included in the show this week, so if you missed it or heard only half of it, tune in at 5pm today and enjoy two hours of the good stuff !
