Has anyone else noticed that when travelling back from Kent into Essex using one of the Dartford tunnels, you often get a large drop of water land on your windscreen about halfway across the river ? A tired brain coming back from yet another busy quiz night could imagine all sorts of things and after posting this scenario on Facebook, a couple of my listeners posted differing comments – Glenn said that it had happened to him with his top down, except the drop landed on his head, whilst Paul suggested a Sly Stallone disaster movie I should avoid at all costs called “Daylight” (look it up!). No, this hasn’t got much to do with my next Saturday repeat show but if you are tired & stressed or maybe just a born worrier, then maybe what you could do with is two hours of soothing soul, jazz-funk & disco music – hey ! There’s the connection ! And you can try the remedy yourself at 5pm tomorrow here on Gateway … 🙂
