Neil Gits Over Excited !

With Nathan’s new school routine and me being mega busy with work at this time of year, chances for us to get together in his bedroom and play FIFA16 on the X-Box have had to be grabbed with both hands and savoured lately ! One game alone just isn’t enough and this Thursday’s session was an epic one – I won’t bore you with all the details of each match, but suffice to say I came out on top (which is a rarity in itself!) by the very slimmest of margins in a “Best Of Three”. Perhaps, I shouldn’t have celebrated quite as wildly and loudly as I did, as it was a fair bit past his normal bedtime and he was getting a bit “tired & emotional”, but … hey … such is the thrill of the game ! The neighbours might have something to say about it too on reflection … 🙁

So, after a busy weekend partying and quizzing and all the prep beforehand on top of the fun & games at home, a super soulful chillout on the radio is absolute bliss each Monday and if you need a couple of hours “time out” with some fine 70s & 80s soul, jazz-funk & disco tunes before then – good news !
