Neil Gits Quizzy !

If I tell you I’ve been busy this week, it won’t be the first time you’ve read that here in my weekly blog ! This year has been incredible so far, with my “Retro Quiz” nights really taking off and a few new projects / venues in the pipeline. On Thursday I started a new one at a smashing pub in a lovely location right out on the Blackwater Estuary in Mid Essex. It wasn’t the busiest first night ever to be honest, but once spring and summer arrive and the evenings get lighter,  it could be a lovely place to drive out for a change of scenery. Come and have a look for yourself – it’s at The Stone Inn, St Lawrence Bay and we start just after 7.30pm, 8pm latest …

Of course, this has nothing to do with my soul show, although occasionally I do play an artist or song on Monday that will crop up in a question later in the week ! But most of my attention this week went into setting up my debut there and the playlist for the radio was a little bit “thrown together” – however, as you can see (and hear again tonight at 5pm!) my trusty long lists of standby ideas always come up trumps and it wasn’t too shabby at all !
