There was no live show last Monday following the death of my elderly mother at the weekend. Obviously it’s been a sad week, but she was 91 years old and was virtually just “exisiting” in a care home, having developed dementia on top of the health issues which come with old age, so at least she is at peace now.
If you tune in at 5pm today (Saturday) you will hear the “previously enjoyed show” that was repeated at short notice five days ago, but normal service will be resumed at 7pm on Monday with another tasty selection of soul, jazz-funk and disco from the70s 80s & beyond.
To keep things up to date and my records straight, below is the latest list of gigs to check out – some interesting new additions feature between now and the end of the year . I’ve also posted the last playlist, just for the sake of it because I always do !
