I find that the best “Old Gits Soul Shows” are the ones that are preceded by a good feed up at one of the many local pubs or restaurants and with Gateway being based in the Eastgate Centre, several options are a short walk away from the studio. One of our favourites is Nando’s in the food court and this week not only did we enjoy some fab tasty chicken and chips, we also got served by the lovely “Lil Lisa” who must be the tiniest waitress in the whole of Basildon ! She is also one of the friendliest and with a highly satisfying visit to her place of work taking place just ahead of the show, you can guess how stunning this week’s broadcast was !! Here it again today at 5pm …
