My show didn’t take quite as long as usual to prepare this week as no less than FOUR of my regular listeners all contributed ideas of selections to play last Monday ! Hardcore regular “A13 Annie” wanted to hear a rarely played Alexander On’Neal track, which inspired me to make him the new “Featured Artist” for June, Trevor & Allan from the “Olde Dog Soul Crew” both decided I should dig out “Love So Fine” by Sahara, so that was the “Vinyl Reminder” sorted and my old, DJ mate Graham Norton (no, not THAT one!) came up with two equally good ideas for “The Old Gits Jazzy Bit” – so I went with both in a state of indecision !! Also, when I posted on Facebook that I had played a brand new track featuring Omar this week, Warren was quickly in touch to tell me he won’t be able to hear it on the repeat play from 5pm tonight … as he is going to see the man himself LIVE in London !! No worries, I’ll put him in again on the next new show this coming Monday from 7pm …
