Well, it’s that time of year again – time to sort the childcare, pack the bags, print the maps and head off on “The Birthday Road Trip!” And a vital part of the preparations is to buy lots of soul, jazz-funk and disco CDs to play in the car en route … I’ve excelled myself this time, picking up SEVENTEEN discounted and “previously enjoyed” titles online which I will be tracking through along the motorways and scenic routes of North-West England before airing them track by track on the show until next year’s adventure !!
