Neil Gits Stuck In A Jam – Twice !

What a week ! Half term is always a busy time, but when it’s the last week of the month with Halloween thrown in too, plus having agreed to cover a friend’s part-time driving job, it can push me to the limit ! So the last thing you need is to get caught up in a major traffic jam – which I managed to do TWICE in the last four days ! Thank God I had a nice selection of soul CDs to keep my spirits up, although even they struggled to help me deal with three passengers on the way back from a dayout at Cadbury World whose ailments included panic attacks, migraines and a full bladder whilst we sat stranded on the M40 near Oxford for over an hour and a half ! And a word of advice – when you see a big queue for the Dartford Tunnel on your way into Kent on a Friday afternoon, don’t try and avoid it by taking the Blackwall Tunnel instead, it’s twice as bad !!!
