Neil Gits Sucked Into The Stress…

Up until now I have done quite well to avoid all the chaos and carnage that surrounds the build up to Xmas. I had purchased the major presents I needed online and received them, I was enjoying the first batch of Xmas parties I had to DJ at and I was on schedule with all my Xmas quiz night preparations. Then midway through printing out all the paperwork for them the printer conked out !! AAARGH !! Luckily, I was able to combine a trip into Basildon to pick up the few remaining festive bits with a divertion to spend a few more quid on the credit card picking up a replacement – but the damage was done, THAT stressful feeling had planted itself deep inside me, the one that you KNOW won’t be leaving you till you are back on the sofa Xmas night stuffed full of grub, watching the Dr Who Xmas Special forcing down another unnecessary portion of chocolate ! 🙁

It’s at times like this you really remind yourself of the wonderful healing powers of music, and though listening to a nice bit of soul won’t totally cure the problem, it certainly eases the worst bits ! If you feel the same, why not take a little time out to tune in to my repeat play of the “Old Gits Soul Show” this Saturday at 5pm and let  these wonderful tunes work their magic … 🙂
