Neil Gits The Car Sorted

Mid March. Always a stressful time in my world – car service & MOT plus insurance renewal and there’s always a hiccup ! So with much trepidation, I booked my ageing car in for the works, drove off a nice cosy little courtesy car and waited for the phone call. Usually when it comes it’s a little bit of bad news, extra expenditure required or at the very least a delay in the process, but this time all went smoothly with just a couple of very minor notes for my attention. Not being a great motor mind, I let the guys at the garage advise me on brakes, tyres, suspension, belts etc and for me the most important thing to keep my car running smoothly is a good selection of soul CDs in the glovebox !! I hear a lot of ideas for my show whilst driving along checking out compilations and other tracks that find their way to me and you can share some of those tunes with me this evening on our weekly “repeat play” of the “old Gits Soul Show” from 5pm – 7pm right here on Gateway …
