Not long to go now ! Less than a month in fact til my special “Old Gits Soul Night Out” on Friday 16th November at Billericay Town FC and this week I’ve put together the DJ rota and had confirmation from all involved that they will be there ! Spinning some fabulous 70s & 80s soul, disco & jazz-funk classics on the night will be Jonny “Soulmine” Layton from Zero Radio and the award winning “Soul By The Jetty” gigs on Canvey Island, the resurrected & respected local lad Graham “Grumpy” Brown (Stomp Radio), former County Town resident and now Chelmsford City Slicker “Jazzy” John Peters (from JFSR) plus the football club’s own PA legend Gary “Gazza” Clark laying down some soulful 70s funk to start the night off on the right foot … AND ME OF COURSE !!!
I am delighted to have brought these four guys from diffferent soul stations and backgrounds together for what should be a really special night out for anyone who enjoys the music I play on my own show here on gateway – which this week sounds like this:
