Last Saturday on the 24th June its was Armed Forces day and radio club went down to see what was happening.
The service was lead by the Mayor of Basildon, Cllr David Harrison, and Garrison Commander Ciaran Griffin OBE
Groups such as Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Cadets and Veterans
After the service the Armed Forces Day flag was raised.
The service started at Toys ‘R’ Us where the cadets and veterans marched towards St Martins Square where they were met by  The Mayor of Basildon, Cllr David Harrison, and Garrison Commander Ciaran Griffin OBE.
