Remembrance Weekend at the Eastgate

It’s remembrance weekend, and leading up to the parade in Basildon Town Centre tomorrow morning, we spoke to several people.

Poppy and Josh went out into the Eastgate Centre and spoke to Explorer Scouts Lauren, Ellis and Rose, along with Army Cadets Brandon, Eric and Nicholas who were selling poppies

Will, leader of the Explorer Scouts, came into the studios to talk to Callum live on air, along with support from the radio club; Callum’s first live interview!

Plus Andrew Hillion from the Royal British Legion came in too, Callum and Fraser put questions to him on air!
