School Advert Day

Arthur Bugler School and Pitsea Junior School headed to Gateway 97.8 to make safety ads on road and fire safety.

After last years successful safety adverts the Radio Station, with the help of the High Sheriff Fund organised the event again for another two local schools.

During the day the youngsters met PSCOS and Essex Fire/Rescue who help make the day.

Danny Lawrence, Director at Gateway 97.8 and President of the Rotary Club of Corringham Thameside said that my Rotary Club sponsor this event and the ads made will once again help others learn the importance of safety. The ads the children make will again be put on air. With school holidays only a few weeks away, road safety is very important.

Danny spoke to Harry Carnaby, who helped lead the event, and some of the children and guests at the event.

Well done to the year 6 pupils from both schools, who will leave Junior schools this summer and onto bigger schools. The advert will be something to remember.
