It has been announced that McDonald’s in Basildon Town Centre will close on Sunday June 30th, after 30 years trading.
The Franchisee of the restaurant said the Store is no longer viable, but his other McDonald’s  in the Eastgate Centre will remain open.
The staff of the restaurant have all been offered posts in nearby McDonald’s.
