The man found dead at Grays on Tuesday has been formally identified as Bradley Arthur who had been reported missing from his home at Chafford Hundred.
A police investigation into Mr Arthur’s death has established that there were no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Coroner.
DCI Richard Baxter, who led the search for Mr Arthur said: “We would like to thank everyone who has assisted in the search for Bradley.
“The response from the public has been fantastic, in particular the numbers of volunteers who attended the area of Grays to give up their time in the search for Bradley.
“Social media has positively impacted on this enquiry in terms of numbers of searchers and raising awareness in terms of the public assisting police into the disappearance of Bradley
