Station mourns volunteer

Gateway 97,8 was sad to hear of the death of one of our members, Andy Roberts, Andy joined the station as a member in 2008 when the station started out as a restricted service license presenting our Sunday afternoon show, and than becoming an engineer advisor to the station when we went full time in 2010.

Danny Lawrence said ” There is know doubt in my mind that Andy was responsible for helping a lot of stations and people, he was a great friend and it was him that went with me when I received my BEM earlier this year.”

Our thoughts are with his family, friends at this difficult time,
