Buses:

FirstGroup Bus routes 3/21/22/26/27 will be affected by the closure of Ferry Road on Canvey Island.

These services will terminate/start from Benfleet Rail Station due to closure of Ferry Road. A shuttle service will be operating from the south side of Benfleet Station to Canvey Leigh Beck, Eastern Esplanade & Newlands, Creek Road between 08:45 & 21:45.

Roads:

• Major roadworks on A13 Stanford-le-Hope in both directions at A1014 The Manorway.
• Gas main work on A129 Hutton Road in Brentwood around the Mount Avenue junction.
• One lane closed on A130 South Benfleet in both directions at A13 Sadlers Farm Roundabout, because of major roadworks. Also affecting The Strategic Link at Sadlers Farm Roundabout.
• Burnt Mills Road in Basildon closed at the Wood Green junction, because of roadworks.

Network Rail are also undertaking track, signal and overhead line maintenance work on c2c between Stanford le Hope / Basildon and Southend Central.

Due to the closure of Ferry Road, the bus stop used by c2c rail replacement buses will change. Buses will now stop at the School Lane bus stops on Essex Way, approximately 400 metres north of the station and will not serve the bus stops on Ferry Road south of the railway.

Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness via Laindon services are replaced by buses between Basildon and Southend Central. The train service between Southend Central and Shoeburyness is re-timed by up to twenty minutes from the usual times to cater for bus connections.

Fenchurch Street to Southend Central via Ockendon services will run between Fenchurch Street and Stanford-le-Hope only.

Replacement buses will operate between Stanford-le-Hope and Southend Central calling at Basildon, Pitsea and Benfleet, Leigh-on-Sea, Chalkwell and Westcliff. For most of the day fast buses will also operate non-stop between Basildon and Southend Central.

Services will depart from Platform 2 at Laindon all day. At Southend Central, trains towards Shoeburyness will use platform 3 on the booking office side of the station.

Greater Anglia:

c2c tickets may be used on Greater Anglia services between Southend Victoria and London Liverpool Street via Shenfield.
