The Government is exploring all avenues to ramp up supplies and production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ventilators and other essentials to respond to the coronavirus outbreak.
In particular, the Government is looking to harness British businesses to help source, supply and manufacture essential items. So far around 8,000 offers have been made to supply PPE, with 400 fresh offers being made each day, and the Government is expanding its ability to go through these offers.
