Eddie Izzard visits Gateway 97.8

Actor, comedian and cross-dressed politically active celebrity Eddie Izzard visits Gateway 97.8 in support of Mike Le-Surf, Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate for the South Basildon and East Thurrock constituency.

They were guests on Friday’s ‘Good Afternoon’ and answered a variety of topical challenging questions put to them by Yvonne Williams. Eddie Izzard made his long-term career commitment to Labour quite clear by revealing his plan to either stand for parliament or for the position of Mayor of London.

This political feature was the first in a series to be held before the General Election in which the candidates for the principal parties are able to present a personal and party profile to assist voters in making better informed choices.
