Two new campmates arrive in I’m a Celebrity

Here’s what’s been happening recently in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

  • This past week saw the arrival of two new campmates in politician Matt Hancock and comedian Seann Walsh, but they had to take part in the bushtucker trial called ‘Borrowing Borrows’ where they earned 6 out of 11 stars. They were also designated as moles where they had to complete various tasks to earn the whole camp their luxary items in the finish.
  • Love Island star Olivia Attwood had to leave camp due to medical reasons.
  • The first bushtucker trial of the series saw singer Boy George, radio presenter Chris Moyles, Olivia and TV presenter Scarlette Douglas take part in the trial ‘HMS Drown Under’ and they won 8 out of 10 stars.
  • Comedian Babatunde Aleshe took on the bushtucker trial ‘Horrifying Heights’ and won 9 out of 9 stars.
  • Since being in camp Matt has had to face a further 5 trials on top starting with the ‘Tentacles of Terror’ which he earned 11 out of 11 stars, followed by ‘La Cucaracha Cafe’ where he was paired with Boy George and they earned 11 out of 11 stars, he then had to do ‘Who Wants To Look Silly On Air?’ with Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner where they earned 5 out of 11 stars, Matt was then voted to do ‘House of Horrors’ where he earned 9 out of 11 stars despite being bitten by a baby scorpion before heading off to do the trial and tonight will see him do the trial ‘Deserted Down Under’.
  • A new feature was introduced this year called ‘Deals on Wheels’ where the celebrities had to take part in a challenge to earn the dingo dollars and then get the question right to earn the treat shown for camp. Lioness Jill Scott and Owen took part in the first challenge and the campmates got the question right earning themselves custard creams, the second challenge saw Rugby Union World Cup winner Mike Tindall and Babatunde Aleshe take part, however the campmates got the question wrong so didn’t win the treat of nachos with guacamole and the third challenge saw Chris, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver and Jill Scott take part, however the campmates got the question wrong meaing they didn’t a treat of popcorn.
  • There was also a challenge to sleep inside the RV that has been in camp since day 1, where keys were hidden around camp, however only two keys would open the RV which Jill and Owen opened.
  • Matt has been appointed camp leader after he Mike recieved the most votes from the public to potentially become a camp leader, but they had to take part in challenge to become camp leader which Matt won and he appointed TV presenter & broadcaster Charlene White as his deputy, meaning those two are not allowed to do any chores in camp for time being.
